The City of Leduc is preparing for the next four years with the new 2027-2030 Strategic Plan, which responds to continued growth and evolving community needs.

The plan identifies four key priorities: safety, responsible growth, strong foundations, and meaningful partnerships. These will help guide municipal decisions, investments, and services as Leduc continues to grow and change.

Leduc is experiencing significant growth, and this Strategic Plan helps ensure we’re managing that growth responsibly by balancing the needs of today and those of tomorrow,” says Mayor Lars Hansen. “It’s about making thoughtful choices that keep both long-term sustainability and community well-being front and centre.

Updated by Council every four years, the Strategic Plan guides how the City plans, invests, and delivers programs and services, ensuring they align with community priorities. Progress on the plan is monitored and shared through annual reports.

While the remainder of 2026 will continue to be guided by the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan, the new 2027-2030 plan will inform upcoming budget and planning discussions as the City looks ahead to 2027.
