Leduc City Council will begin public deliberations on the proposed 2027 Budget on Monday, Oct. 26. During these meetings, Council will review and discuss proposed operating and capital budgets before making decisions on funding priorities, infrastructure investments, and municipal service levels for the coming year.
The proposed budget outlines the expected costs of delivering services, programs, facilities and infrastructure, as well as revenue from sources such as utility fees, user fees, government grants and developer contributions. After considering these revenues, the City identifies the tax revenue required to balance the budget. The property tax rate will be determined in the spring when property assessments are complete.
