Leduc’s four off-leash dog parks are available to residents and visitors seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
The K9 Off Leash Dog Park will be temporarily closed on July 23, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. to finish geotechnical work that was delayed due to equipment failure.

Located on the east side of William F. Lede Park (behind the LRC on Black Gold Drive), K9 Off-leash Dog Park is 40 acres of mixed parkland with trails through forest and wetlands. The area is fully fenced with benches and waste bag dispensers, and now includes a fenced area for smaller dogs.
Barclay Off-leash Dog Park is located in the Leduc Business Park at 3914-77 Ave., east of Highway 2. This park features a naturalized trail and stormwater pond and is partially fenced.
Deer Valley Temporary Off-Leash Dog Park is located off Grant MacEwan Blvd near MacEwan Greens (6201 Grant MacEwan Blvd). This temporary off-leash dog park is fully enclosed with a bench, guidelines and a waste can. This location opens in May 2025 as the second year of a pilot project, and visitors are encouraged to share their thoughts on the temporary location by scanning a QR code posted on-site or by filling out the online survey. Feedback will be used to decide if this location should be made permanent.
Outlook Park is Leduc’s newest off-leash dog park. It is located in the Leduc Business Park (east of Highway 2) and is accessible off 33 Street. The park includes a naturalized hill and stormwater pond. The trail and seating area on the hill offer scenic views, and it is partially fenced.
