Starting in the late afternoon of Oct. 24, motorists will be able to use the 65 Avenue and QEII interchange to travel between the City of Leduc, Leduc County and Edmonton International Airport lands while finishing touches, like landscaping, are being completed.

Motorists will be able to drive:

  • On the eastbound and westbound bridges over the QEII.
  • The on and off-ramps connecting to southbound lanes of the QEII highway.
  • Perimeter Road to 65 Avenue to Grant MacEwan Boulevard.
  • In the roundabouts on the east and west sides of the overpass.

The reopening will change traffic flow in the area; drivers should be attentive.

Driving the new roundabouts
Please follow traffic signs when driving in roundabouts and the area.

The east teardrop roundabout will help manage traffic flow from the new and existing overpass and control congestion in the area. The west roundabout will connect motorists to Airport Perimeter Road, 50 Street, and 35 Avenue.
