A residential parking ban has been declared for residential roads in the City of Leduc to allow for snow removal.

Vehicles must be removed from roads by 4 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 or they may be tagged and towed.

Parking on the road may resume once the snow and windrows have been cleared.

What to expect from a residential snow removal parking ban

  • General residential roads are smaller side streets and cul-de-sacs in neighbourhood areas
  • Temporary signs (with dates) are posted at neighbourhood entrances
  • Parked vehicles will be tagged ($250 fine) and towed to the nearest cleared road
  • Snow clearing typically lasts 1-4 days in each neighbourhood

Steps you can take to prepare for a parking ban

  • See the priority map to find which parking ban applies to you at home or work
  • Sign up for email alerts to be know when parking bans are declared
  • Check the snow removal schedule and look for signs at your neighbourhood entrance that indicate when crews will be in your area
  • Plan where to park your vehicle during the ban
