Update on Aug. 14 at 7:30 p.m.: As City crews continue to isolate the problem, additional water values have been turned off in the area impacting two apartment buildings at the corner of Black Gold Drive and 50 Street: Richmond Arms Apartments and Unico Apartments. With repair work ongoing, we anticipate water to be restored to these buildings late this evening.
Water has, however, been restored to the Leduc Golf Club and the initial homes impacted by the outage on Bienert Court, Crestview Place, and 43 Avenue.

Aug. 14 at 3:45 p.m.: City crews are responding to a water outage affecting residences and businesses on Black Gold Drive. The Leduc Golf Club, Leduc Alliance Church and homes on Bienert Court, Crestview Place and roughly 12 homes on 43 Avenue are primarily affected; however, others in the area may experience low water pressure.
The outage occurred around 12 to 12:30 p.m. and is the result of a water line break. Crews responded quickly and are on site communicating directly with affected residents and completing repairs to restore service as soon as possible.
Repairs are expected to be completed late this evening. Drinking water is being delivered directly to all affected residences on Bienert Court, Crestview Place, 43 Avenue, and Leduc Alliance Church.
