Papal visit to Alberta

Pope Francis will arrive in Edmonton on Sunday, July 24, 2022. 

The Government of Alberta is providing logistical support for the visit, and has indicated that travellers on Alberta highways can expect some rolling road closures and traffic delays June 24-27. This will include short closures of and limited access to the QEII Highway on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday.
