Always dial 911 when there is an emergency.

The Emergency Management team is responsible for developing programs and plans to prevent disasters (like water contamination or hazardous chemical exposures) and limit the effects of any disaster that cannot be prevented (severe storms, extreme cold, tornadoes).

Heart Safe ProgramHeart Safe Program

The Heart-Safe (Public Access Defibrillation) program is aimed at providing rapid access to defibrillation in case of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).

Vision : To reduce deaths attributed to Sudden Cardiac Arrest in the Province through responders trained in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED).
