West Snow Storage Facility
A new engineered snow storage facility will be built to better serve increased demand on the west side of Leduc. The project also includes upgrades to 74 Street from the end of Woodbend neighbourhood north to 65 Avenue.

Project Update
Detours and closures
Aug. 21: The southbound lane on 74 Street between 65 Avenue and Boreal Drive will be closed until end of October for roadwork. The northbound lane will remain open.

| Sept. 12 | Southbound lane remains closed and removals have started. |
| Aug. 22 | Hauling fill material in. Southbound lane on 74 Street between 65 Avenue abd Boreal Drive closed. |
| Aug. 19 | The southbound lane on 74 Street between 65 Avenue and Boreal Drive will be closed starting August 21 until end of October for roadwork. The northbound lane will remain open. Motorists can head further west on 65 Avenue and head south on Range Road 255 to access Highway 39. |
| July 24 | Topsoil stripping ongoing. Several projects in the area creating dust, dust control will be provided when hauling begins. |
| July 4 | Equipment will be mobilized to site over the next few days and construction will begin within a week or two. |
