Spine Road and 65 Ave Roadwork
Reconstruction of Spine Road will see the existing gravel roads from Allard Rod to 65 Avenue, and 65 Avenue from 35 Street to Spine Road become paved.
Roadwork of Spine Road will enhance transportation to the 65 Avenue and QEII Interchange underway. The interchange is expected to be completed in 2025 and will foster trade and improve transportation logistics and access from the Edmonton International Airport and investments to Leduc and throughout the Edmonton Metroplitan Region.

Project Update
May 6 to June 30: 65 Avenue from 35 Street to Spine Road (Range Road 250) will be closed as road reconstruction work begins. Motorists should follow posted detour signage to/from Spine Road using Allard Avenue and 39 Street.
